It was a bidding and trick taking game somewhat similar to Spades. It was played with a special deck. Some of the cards had a picture of a gangster on it. Of course they were not real gangsters, just people dressed up as gangsters. I think at least one of the cards had the picture of a dog on it. I don’t remember much more about it except I think it had a weird scoring system. That’s all I remember. It is driving me crazy!! What was the name of that old card game?
Rosinbagger suggested “Top Trumps”. That just does not sound correct. I looked “Top Trumps” up on Wikipedia. If the description of “Top Trumps” on that site is anywhere close to correct, I do not think that is the game I am thinking of. It does not sound right in any case. Are there any other ideas?
