Almost certainly your video card if you just started playing the games. If the games worked fine for a few weeks, then started crashing, I would suggest reinstalling them or using System Restore to move the settings back.
If your computer a) suddenly restarts, b) goes blank, then exits, c) displays notice that “input not detected”, forcing you to restart, then it is probaly the fact that your video card is too wimpy.
I had the same problem using and integrated Intel chipset to play Guild Wars – unfortunately the solution is not as easy to solve as it is to diagnose.
You may want to try searching for an updated graphics driver – simply go to your manufacturer’s website to find them. (To determine the model of your chipset, go to Control Panel –> Hardware/sound –> Device Manager). If you already have the latest driver, then tough luck; your computer is simply too weak to run the game. You may consider upgrading your video card – a new one will cost you about $100.
