Books about Gangs and Gangsters from 1920-1940?
pixiecat_girl asked:
Or anything about something other than the war at that time. I’m doing research for a comic strip and I kind of wanted to see how things were run in the gangster game. I know it arose heavily in the time of Prohibition, but my story is more in the 1940’s and out of that age. I just don’t know where to go with it? Its also based in Arkansas which had and still has a lot of gambling and a prominent racetrack up north, and was well known for its moonshiners. If that helps any *shrug*
