What should I do to increase the quality of online games on my computer?

To be more specific, I need a video card greater than or equal to 128MB memory and a CPU speed greater than or equal to 2400 MHz. I know someone who has the same computer as I do, and yet his online games have better quality. I don’t think he knows specifically what he did to make that possible. Can someone tell me how to fulfill these requirements for best play?

just look for a video card that is better.
video card would be a good investment. Memory on video cards don’t matter to much as long as it’s 512 and above unless you got like a 30″ lcd or something. CPU speed if it’s duo core 2.4 that’ll be fine.
i recommend an nvidia brand graphics cards thats what most high quality games are programmed to today its the best out there for example Quake
