How do i obtain the Chicago Typewriter in Resident Evil 4?

Unlockable: Chicago Typewriter Weapon
Beat Operation Ada, and the “Chicago Typewriter”, a Thompson with 10.0 firepower, infinite ammo, no reload, and the fire rate of a maxed out TMP, becomes available at the merchant.
Yes you are missing about 1,000,000 pesetas. Once you beat the game(s) you only unlock the ability to purchase the gun. They give very little away in this game.
An easy way to get the gun is to save close to the end with as much money as you can get. Then play the game over and over from that point until you get a million. Each time you fininsh the game you start the next round with what you finished with. So if you have x amount of money when you finsh the round it carries over. Same thing again and again allows you to rake up the mey without having to go through the whole game.
But if you haven’t reached the spot to unlock the gun you have to play it again. It sounds to me like you need to restart your game from the saved file after completing the levels, that is a “new game”. If that doesn’t work you may have to play them over…….
The costume doesn’t have anything to do with getting the gun……..
