What games/things did you and your friends do growing up?

gangster games
King of londoN asked:

And did you do any of these things or similar?
Games played when I was between the ages of 7 – 12 on my estate

KDG/Knock Down Ginger- Kick a persons door of its hinges if possible and run.

21 dares- Who ever landed on the number 21 had to do a dare given to them

Beat the letter- Two teams in turn one makes a word out of the amount of people they have each person has a letter then the other team has to catch each one and beat them till they give up their letter. That game was tuff lots of bruises

Fly tipping- Frowing what you could of the 20th floor and watching it explode either on someone at the bottum, a car on on the floor.

Hadd- The person who is it has sto find everyone else who is hiding. Seen someone lose their finger, bust open their head and break limbs.

Football/Soccer games
Knockouts, foul football, matches, stingball (booting the ball and trying to dodge it)

Holidays:
Halloween 31st October
The one day it is legal to wear masks lol Egging, KDG, robbing trick or treaters, vandlism

Bonfire night 5th November
Arson, firework fights, setting of fireworks in shops homes at the police etc lots of fireworks not being aimed at the sky basically

I know most this stuff is stupid and fd up but I only think it is if teenagers are doing this stuff I dont remember doing any of that since I was 12 but I think I was the last generatin to do all this now the kids wanna be gangsters or complete GTA games

Today I respect society and I never spend time on the streets

We used to play poker once every week. I never won, and I lost probably $50 on average each game. The total loss would be in 4 digit figures by now.

I remembered playing the KDG/Knock Down Ginger game that you described when I was younger (11 years old). I played with the neighborhood kids and we’ll knock on the door of the haunted house and we’ll ran. I don’t recall much of the games, I think that we play red light/green light. It’s just a game where the kids have to run or move whenever someone says “green light”. If someone says “red light”, everyone freezes.

I remembered that we’ll walk around the neighborhood and find leftover bricks by our apartment. We’ll use the bricks to draw all over the sidewalks.

I also remembered that we used to rollerblade around the nieghborhood. We’ll play jump rope. I think that we played hide and seek too.

We did the 1st one. But it was called something else. (N*gga Knock) ?A bunch of us would bang on the door and run. When it snowed we threw snowballs when the door was answered.

We also played “left pocket”. Whenever you see a player in the game and his hand is not in his left pocket, you get whatever is in the left pocket. If not you get beat down by all the players.

We played “open chest” You get to bang any of the players in the chest whenever you think you can. He can’t retaliate, but if he blocks it, he gets a free shot at your chest.

i remember playing something like KDG. it was called Breaking and Entering, then Running. really stupid. we would knock down the door then leave note saying, “I stole something”
