Can you use a crack version of Steam to join online games?

Basically, my friend has a cracked version of Steam, in which you can download any games for free. I was wondering if he can play me (Me with legit games) in online servers?
Im not sure if he has a steam id, Il check tomorow.
I don’t support him using it either, Especially cos all my games are legit, but what can i do?

Probably but i wouldn’t let him on any of my servers if i knew he had a pirate version
tell your mate to stop being a tight arse and get a job and PAY for games. this is why pc gaming is going down the pan cuz of wasters like you’re mate.
i’d say i would refuse to play with him online until he gets a legit version. sounds like you dont rip off games companies so take a moral stand!!!
