Do you have to play xbox 360 live games online?

There are no games that are strictly online… every single game can be played without going online.
no if you buy a game that has live it doesnt even have to be played online
it can indeed be played on or off line, x-box live is merely an option, or else i wouldn’t be able to play COD
It really depends on the game. Read the back of the game you want to determine if you must play it online.
I played Final Fantasy XI for a few years – there was no offline play. You had to be logged in at all times to play.
This is pretty unusual though. Most games allow you to play against the computer, or have a story mode that you can play which don’t require that you be online to enjoy them.
you can play those games on and off the internet because that sign only means you can play online
Thank you for asking this question. I was just at the store wondering myself. Someone in Wal-Mart did tell me that Live is an option. They can be played offline as well! YIPEE!!! Makes it easier to pick out some cheap games for my boys now!
no, all games that have live on the case just means u can play it online if u wanted to. it can be played offline
