Are there any Wii games my husband and I (2 ppl) can play that will also allow us to find more players online?

Mario Kart is awesome, and up to two people can race with others online!
Instead of suggesting one or two games i will like to suggest you to go to for the list of wii games which fullfills your need. thank you.
