i have 2 solutions 4 you:
dragon quest:
-no downloading
-entertaining but takes a while
-kind of a pain if u die alot
shin megami tensai: (japanese rpg from aeria games)
-your story depends on your choices as to wether or not you are nuetral, lawful(good), or chaotic(evil)
-you can upgrade any thing u want from your summons abilities to
weapon crafting, spells, melee weapons, summon fusions, and so on…
-you have to download it…
-need good graphics engine on comp…
