SUGGESTIONS or COMMENTARY needed. I wrote an ESSAY about my cousin?

You Just Hope …. That It Lasts asked:

It was for his English class project (Honors English 10). I had to write a page on his moral character, personality, etc. I just wanna know if you have any suggestions or what you think about it. thanks =)

here it is:

oh and i bleeped my name out where “_-_-_” is, so don’t worry about correcting it.

Rex has always been someone of a rare personality. I’m his cousin, _-_-_, and throughout the many years we’ve grown up together, not once have I witnessed him commit an act of deceit towards another human being. Ever since we were younger, he’s been really generous to me. He would let me borrow his games, shoes, or even his other earphone when he noticed that I was bored, so we could listen to music together. His family blessed him by helping him develop a keen sense of judgment. He’s a deep thinker that processes well thought out decisions. The abstract character he demonstrates never allows him to take satisfaction in hatred, drama, or the conniving act of betrayal.
Rex also has an open mind that reflects off of his artistic ability. He’s extremely creative and slacking on what he values is no option for him. Rex is pretty dedicated to whatever he thinks is worth his time, so he’ll be a great friend to you if you show him that you can treat him the same way. He’s definitely someone you can trust with when it comes to matters of advice. Rex doesn’t partake in gossip and he doesn’t care about whether or not your clothes are branded, which proves the fact that he’s not superficial, unlike various teenagers these days. Rex is also very wise and intelligent for someone his age with one reason being that he has a very large vocabulary, and another reason being that he doesn’t involve himself with drugs and alcohol.
Being someone of an immature personality is something he surpassed before he even hit middle school. He’s always fair to everyone and never prejudice, not to mention the fact that he is a gentleman. He’d pay for my food whenever we’d go to the food court together. Money is only an object to him, but to my knowledge, he’ll be cashing in a lot of it later on in life because he desires to be an architect someday.
He isn’t what you’d call a “poser” due to the fact that he truly admires what activities he commits his time to, and he always knows what he’s talking about. What the “crowd” thought about Rex never mattered to him, because despite the amount of people that criticized him in middle school for starting to skateboard and wearing slightly tighter clothes, rather than baggy gangster attire, he still pursued it. None of his words are based on dishonesty and he doesn’t waste time talking about or dealing with the unnecessary, which is why I have no problem listening to him.
In certain ways, I view Rex as an average teenager. Though in different perspectives, I view him as someone totally different, personality wise. He’s like any other boy his age, occupied by their many hobbies when not in school, which in Rex’s case is skating and playing Gears of War. What separates him from the rest of the boys I know is his outlook on life. He knows life isn’t a big party and that there are times to be serious. He’ll definitely benefit the world someday.
