Not Crime or Murder related but with the same premise as Mafia Wars.
MyBrute is an online browser RPG fighting game where the more friends you have the stronger you get.

Travian, Bitefight, Dopewars, Ikariam are the first four I can think of, Travian was the best out of those 4.

Here is a game u must like!
It’s called battlestaion. You gain experience lvl up, gain gold and upgrade your ship in order to reach higher lvl. You can attack people with your ship, join clans, it has got a bidding market with a large community!
It has got the best animation for a facebook game so feel free to try it out >.
