try runescape. no downloading anything. its a browser game. not much requirements. its free. pvp. lots of quests, monsters, and hours of play, and guess what its free (unless you want extra features for about5-6$ USD
i recommed maplestory but after a while you stop playing it like a few years. but you need friends to play with you to make it more fun… other online games i LOVE TO PLAY and never get bored from are Left 4 Dead, CS:S Morrpr’s Edge: CS 1.6. but they all require a cd except for 1.6 which you can download off steam

it’s a great game. i’ve played it for years and it’s really something different. i would suggest playing a private server haha
