Why are video games more expensive when you buy them in shops and not online?
N.M.I. asked:
If you want to buy or preorder a game online e.g. for the PC then it’s usually £24.99. However, if you preorder it on the phone or pick it up in person then it gets more pricey, £29.99. Anyone knows why this is?
OK, they have to pay for the transportation (from the warehouse to the store) but they are also paying for the postage if you order the game online (as they are covering the delivery cost).
So where did that £5 go?
