Does changing your MAC Address make your computer slower or playing online games slower?

I changed my MAC Address 3 times to play certain online role playing games, but i’ve noticed that i would disconect from them alot and i would lag a bit. Is this a problem with the game server or my computer? Cause i just want to know if changing my MAC Address was linked to this?

Nope. Why would you need to change your MAC address?
No it would just slow down your computer for a min, Thats because a lot of things use the mac address and it is changing them.
Changing your mac address should have no long term affects on the performance of you computer. It may make your computer hesitate briefly as it is changing the address in all of the programs that need to know what it is, but after it is finished with that process it shouldn’t change anything. Then again I’m not sure why you would change the address in the first place.
