not by playing online games but possible by viruses
i would imangine that some game sites have virouses, as far as slowing your computer, depends on if ypou you download anyrhing. fill your drive up it will sliow it down.
The short of a long answer is answer is Yes. If you have this problem you could download three free programs that i always use. Ad-Aware,
Spybot Search & Destroy and CCleaner. ALL are free unless you wish to donate. Run CCleaner first and then one of the other two. and then the other. Make sure they are all updated before you run them. Some Game sites create a lot of trash as you use them that has to be removed often or it chokes everything.
it technically shouldnt because when you play from online games you aren’t downloading anything, but from your moms point of view, and i kinda do understand which is, there could be pop ups that secretely install a process or hidden cookies which can slow down ur computer a bit
