Can my computer get a virus from playing games online ?

Yes, but I highly doubt you can get one on World of Warcraft because people only target large games online and World of Warcraft is downloadable which I doubt your going to get a virus from, unless you already have one and it spreads.
You won’t get a virus playing World of Warcraft, unless another player somehow manages to send you a dodgy file?!
No, a virus is going to come from email or a web browser most of the time. WoW isn’t going to give you a virus.
That being said, if as a WoW player you go to the WoW official forums in your web browser, a lot of people on there try to infect you with keyloggers to steal your account.
So play the game, but stay off of the forums.
