Because spending money isn’t fun…
They can’t pay or don’t want to pay. Simple as that.
Just view them of the snack of the video game world which will do when you just want a tiny bit of entertainment. Then view the games that you buy as the three course meal that you want to have an immersive sit down experience for.
Just like everything in life, all things in moderation.
Sometimes it’s easier to play on line than to look for the game and buy it. Also it’s a lot cheaper and some people don’t see the point in buying games when they can play them for free online.
People choose to play free games since maybe they don’t want a super in depth experience. they might just want a simple online game they can play for short bursts of time. some games like WOW are so indepth you get no where without hours and hours of play. also people don’t like paying for a game on a monthly basis
