why does my tower make a screeching noise everytime i try to play online games?

when i go onto any online games the tower on my pc starts making a screeching noise?.it starts doing it every few seconds,then continuous until i need to reboot my pc to stop the noise?…iv had no problems with it in the past and my pc is only one year old?
its worse now…i cant even do a disc and defragg or virus scan without it making this noise…its really annoying..please help!!!

Is it a screeching sound like a fan, or is it a beeping noise from a speaker? If it is a long beeping noise, then it is your PC telling you that it is overheating. If it’s a fan-like sound, then your fan may be coated in dust and needs to be (carefully) cleaned out.
It sounds like a heat-related issue, graphics-intensive computer games will heat up your GPU and CPU. When was the last time you opened your computer case and blew the dust out of it?
Like the others said it could be a fan making that noise,but you could also have to many programs running in the back ground & you’re processor is freaking out.Click “run” type msconfig & uncheck any unnecessary programs on start up.That should help.Before that open your task manager (ctrl,alt,delete) & see how many processes are running before you start anything.Some programs will have 2 or 3 applications running.
