My computer is obviously not a new one it had been bought before 2 to 3 years ago I think.

My SYSTEM information are as follows:

PROCESSOR:-Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00 GHz

RAM:-512 mb.

OPERATING SYSTEM:- Windows XP service pack 2.

GRAHIC CARD details are as follows:-

PROCESSOR:- GeForce 6600 LE.

VIDEO BIOS VERSION:- 5.43.02.89.68.

IRQ:- 16

BUS:- PCI Express x16

MEMORY:-256 mb

FORCEWARE VERSION:-77.77

TV encorder type:- NVIDIA integrated

Directx 9.0 or better.

I have scanned my system fully using norton antivirus but there were no problems.

I actually play games like MAFIA 1,TOTAL OVERDOSE and LITTLE FIGHTER2.0…

I know Mafia and total overdose is quite a big game when compared to the the 20mb little fighter….

But If Iam not playin games my pc does not restart….Can someone help me about this…..
But Friends as some of you have mentioned low RAM many of my friends have lesser RAM than me but it does not restart for them…

I have a 80 GB Hard disk and there is free space of about 24 GB….

it might be that the lack of ram in your computer and playing the games makes it crash. not having enough ram for the games and the necesary programs to run windows

Your computer restarts when it is low on memory. When you play your game, it takes alot of memory.

to me your processor is to low to play games ,also your graphics card needs to be update to geforce 8800gt,before upgrading check your motherboard specs, what is the highest processor it can handle,
note:
computer below 4.00 ghz are not recommend for playing games
only one i can think about that qualifies dell xps price range $3000-7000
others are even higher

Your game have a start up setting. If you open your windows it start. Try to remove on the start up setting or in the game configuration when it said the game will start automatic if whatever the computer start. Ask the manufacturing company maybe it is not applicable to this kind of specs or maybe it is not genuine because I use not genuine it always hang and restart when It is long. My specs is much higher than yours.
