What are some fun multi-player online games?
Randa asked:
I already know about Runescape. But, what are some other games similar to Runescape? Or other online multi-player games? Keep in mind I really don’t want to have to download some “free trial” type thing.

dude!try heavygames.com
go 2 miniclips.com battleon.com dragonfable.com or worldofwarcraft.com.There cool games.world of warcraft well…you can get the disk or the free 10 day trial.
If you don’t feel like paying for a monthly fee, you could try playing one of the free online games from gpotato. “Flyff” is pretty popular, and its free to play.
Maple Story. I use to play the game a couple months ago, but life got busy and I didn’t have the time for it any before. Its pretty fun for a free game. It is an MMORPG like Runescape. I actually enjoyed Maple Story more. It has quests and items for you to collect. The community is nice. One big difference is that its a 2D anime looking graphics, but I liked the style. I guess my only gripe about the game is that some of the quests get repetitive and there are hackers. I still liked it though.
A really good one is World of Warcraft but you have to pay monthly and its a 3.5GB download. But if you ask me, it’s worth it.
battlefield 2 is the greatest multiplayer game
Man, buy urself a ps3 and get urself a wireless router and play resistance:fall of man, or even motor storm. PS3 rocks.
I’m going to tell you about the browser based MMORPGs, then.
To play games in flash, there are those community based flash games (that some people consider to be MMORPGs) that are becoming really popular: Gaia Online (that I already played and that is really cool), ClubPenguin, PuzzlePirates, and i think that Habbo goes the same way; in all of this games you create an avatar and play games like fishing to get money and personalize those avatars.
There’s also the pure browser based ones: Tibia is a fairly popular game, BiteFight and Knightfight are OK. Travian is a strategy MMOG, also pretty good. There’s also pokemon crater (but it has a lots of publicity) and, my personal favorite, FallenSword (it’s much like pokemoncrater, only that it doesn’t have lots of publicity, and has a guild system that stimulate interaction, not to mention the lottery and the auction system).
Have fun.
