Do I need Nintendo Wi-Fi to play online games on my Wii?

The Wii has a built in wireless connector. You will need a wireless internet source (wireless router) to get it connected.

All you need is a baisic internet connection, but it is recommended to get a Wi-fi, not really a Nintendo Wifi.
You can use either of these:
1. Wireless Router
2. Nintendo USB Wi-Fi adapter.
3. Nintendo LAN adapter.
Family play is simplified controls so anyone in the family can play it.
