How can I play LAN games online?
Fordo asked:
I wanna play games with my cousin somewhere else. I don’t wanna go online for Multiplayer(for unmentionable reasons). Can you please tell me what i can do to play with him. And also we have 2 PCs in our place that’s hooked up together via wired connection. Can we play together with my brother? And I’ve heard of hamachi. Will it solve the problem?

Yes all is well in the world of gaming.
The most important thing you need to learn is port forwarding on your router. You will also need to learn the ports that game uses and the IP address of your connection. can do that for you.
The way your brother will connect will be different. He will need to know the IP of the actual host computer. If you don’t know how to get that, do the following.
Start > Run > type “cmd” > type “ipconfig”
That will list the IP’s bound to your network cards on this computer. Unless you connect more than one way, there should only be one address.
Hamachi is great. I use it for all of my private online gaming needs.
In fact, Hamachi will do something rather unique. Even if a game has no internet support, you can play it over the internet! (It only needs to support local area network [LAN] multiplayer.) So, download Hamachi, set up your account, and get started!
