Do online rpg games make you addicted to them?

I play online rpg games normally i don’t really have much time to play cause i got school an other things to do,i only get to play in the weekends when i have a free time.

But most people say whenever you play online games too much you become closeup and that is what you do all they cause your addicted to the game.
Does anyone here spend hours playing online games?

Its an epidemic
Yes and no.
While I will go 8-10 hours a day playing a game sometimes, this surge is usually short lived. It’s not an addiction until you shirk other things for it.
So, say you play 20 hours a day. If someone calls you and is like “Dude, come over! I got a new pool!” and you’re like “Sure thing, be right there!” then you’re fine
HAHA yes tis actually an addiciton.. though i stay active casue sitting in the house all day is bad for you… I used to play 360 foor 6 hours straight…and last night i played runescape from 11:30 till 3:30 so yea you can becaome addicinted its not a bad thing just rememebr that you have to stay active so you dont become over wieght
i will have to say yes but not to the extreme. If you got a new video game you will be exited to play it. But mostly until you beat it. for mmorpgs you can never beat it. So you will be introduced to new goals all month long. You will play a new game for at lease 5 months.
YES!!! I used to be a MAJOR addict. But marching band came and took all my time away, so it was broken. I used to stay up to 2 in the morning playing.
it depends on how much u play, if u play 24/7 u got no life but if u play when u got free time then i say no
No it is not an addiction, i have played some days for 12 hours and I could go a month or a year even without playing it, if it was addictive i wouldnt be able to do that so to prove my point it isnt addictive and theyr fun and good passtimes
most(or every) online games have got exp points and different levels of characteristics so people want to get as much as exp points they can get so they get addicted to the game. i play bomberman world online and i am very addicted to it
