Good luck getting rid of kids. Thats the reason i don’t do online games anymore.
I never did the runescape thing. I hear warhammer hits shelves today…
3 words, World of Warcraft. Just please make sure you play in moderation, because you can get addicted to that game.
Ahhh, I hate these pointless addicting games but anyway, I would play COD4 and rainbow 6 vegas 2 but here are a list.

There are a lot of massive multi-player online games (MMORPGs). Lunia, Rappelz, and 2Moons are some excellent free ones.
Guild Wars, World of Warcraft (not reccomended) and Dungeons & Dragons: Online are some really nice commercial games, though out of the three only Guild Wars doesn’t have a subscription fee.
If you’re looking for a browser-based game, MaidMarian.com has a few interesting ones.
EVE Online is an option.
Space based MMORPG. Non-linear, and can be very freeform.

I enjoyed Second Life.
It is an online game you download for free.
There are around 50,000 played all the time around world.Over a million members. I have friendships with people I hang with there.

Yeah World of Warcraft is the best online game in my book but i also recomend ourworld, second life, perfect world, lunia, habbo hotel, flyff, nostale, wizard 101, fiesta online, world of kung fu, dark orbit, kickster, scions of fate, phoenix dynasty, sos, ragnarok, onrpg column, cabel online, dragon gem and hero online! i could think of a heap more but not right at this second.
